Quail Corner Shoe Repair Shop is a neighborhood shoe shop in Raleigh, North Carolina. After years at the repair bench we know which shoes age well, so we sell a small range of handmade leather oxfords, loafers and brogues — and handcrafted solid wood furniture built with the same care.

Why leather

Leather uppers and linings breathe, shape to your foot and take a polish. With shoe trees and occasional care, a good pair looks better at year five than at week one.

Most of our shoes are handmade to order by small workshops, so finish and grain vary slightly from pair to pair.

What we carry

Oxfords — cap toe, plain toe and brogue oxfords in black, brown and burgundy.
Loafers — penny, horsebit and tassel loafers.
Derby & brogues — wingtips, longwings and lug-sole derbies.
Under $150 — good leather shoes at an easier price.
Wood furniture — made-to-order solid wood consoles, TV stands, shelves, tables and desks from small furniture workshops.
